Coil split wiring with switch?

Hi,
I wanted to change my pickups for the first time, but I don't know anything about the wiring.
I have a HSS Fender Strat and wanted to change the neck PU (Single Coil) with a humbucker, which i can coil split.
I chose a Seymour Duncan Little 59. I remembered where the original PU was soldered, and removed it.

My guitar doesnt have a poti for coil splitting, it has a 1 way switch.
There was an instruction for the PU, but that doesnt help me, because it only refers to push pull potis.

In the pictures you'll see the wiring in my guitar, and everything else. I marked white, where the original white cable was, and black where the original black one was.
The new PU has 5 cables: black, white, red, green and a bare one.
I soldered the black one to the 5 way switch where the original PU was attached.
I'd like to wire it so that both the humbuckers do coil split when i use the 1 way switch.
But since there are no instructions for those kind of switches, please help me where to put the rest of the cables.

You do realize this is a forum for users of Fractal Audio Amp modeling hardware, right? There just happens to be a sub-forum for guitars...

You'll still probably find help, though. Just wanted to mention that as you just joined and this isn't a typical first post on this forum ;)
 
Yeah, kinda piggy-backing on the above, that's probably gonna be something to take to a good guitar tech. Imo, the internet, and in particular, forums dedicated to specific topics, can be helpful, but only to a certain point.
 
I've got this;
The black wire is hot ,it goes to the pickup switch.
The green wire is ground ,back of the volume pot.
The bare wire is ground too so also the back of the volume pot.
On SD pickups a coil tap is the red and white wire soldered together , these go to the middle lug on your coil tap switch (SPDT)
To complete the coil tap there must a ground attached to one of the outside two lugs on the SPDT switch. Depending on which you use will be coil tap up or down . If you use the upper lug as ground the lower switch position will be tapped.
Something to note with combinations of pickups is they are sometimes out of phase with each other. (quiet and thin when on together)
If this is the case on your guitar all you need to do is swap the green and black wires with each other ,the bare wire stays on the pot (ground.)
 
BTW a push pull is the same but two rows of contacts and set vertically . DPDT (double pole double throw.) yours is a single pole ,hence S instead of D in the switch type description . These also need to be ON ON type so no position where all the contacts are off. The second row of poles is not needed for a single coil tap .Often it is used to coil tap a second pick up or it is needed to do a series parallel or phase reversal.
You can also add a cap in the coil tap ground connection to change the tone of the tap. With experimentation you can get a better single coil approximation sometimes.
 
To get a better understanding of wiring in general, I suggest also trying out the Guitar Nutz 2 forum, which is totally focused on this stuff and has tons of explanations, from beginner to the ridiculously complicated. And a site that sells PCB based wiring upgrades that simplify things tremendously is awesome-guitars.com.

At first I thought this would not have happened without a switch with more poles, but after careful consideration, I thought I had come up with a way to do it.
