Pulling my hair out over here. Had the Axe disconnected from the computer for a while and hooked it back up yesterday to start getting ready for some new recordings. I am getting this terrible clipping/ crackling noise on play back. I'm at a loss after everything seems exactly the same as when I had the Axe connect before? I'm using Reaper, made sure my preset CPU is under 70, AXE FX II Mark 2. When I am just sitting and not playing I can see the meter for the track I'm using clip but I don't here any of that coming through my monitors? When I recorded the track it sound fine but when it comes to play back I see spikes in the wave and the clip light comes on the Axe. I know its gotta be something stupid easy. Help! =) clip below
