Pretty sure he used a Mesa Power 2:90 before...not a VHT.

VHT 2/90/2 is what he used I believe. I have one and it does sound unbelieveable with the Axe.

After a major amp failure, I finished a gig using a- the-twin' fender belt'practse amp d.i 'ed into desk it actually worked fine as a lash-up , and very easy to transport

HEY! My first amp! Then a Crate G40XL, really recently Behringer GM212 with a GT-8, then 4x12 w/power amp & GT-8, . . . then an Axe-FX. I skipped a lot in there.
