Pauly I know a local player who is fluent in this style. He once told me the secret is the Right Hand picking
thumb is a Little Brain, it just keeps going, you concentrate more on, The other fingers, that are playing the thinnest 4 strings, but I do notice he is shifting his Left Hand Thumb while doing the Bass stuff. I love the Style and tinker with it some. One thing for Certain, you best know all the Notes on the Fingerboard and your Major Scale keys. Travis picking is tough for some.
