Clean to scream

Question for the knowledgable folks here. Which amp model cleans up the best with the guitar volume knob. Clean to scream just using the volum knob.

There are many that do this well. The 'Plexi' models? One of my favorites is the 'Wrecker Express'. 'Voxy' clean to 'Marshall' grind,

Yes. Quite a few. Plexi and JCM800 both do this well for me.

+1 with Dweezil's Bassman, cleans up great like a Plexi but has even more gain on tap. Brit #34 can do the job too.

Most any amp (or amp channel) that's not traditionally known for 'extreme' high gain will do what you're asking, they're all pretty dynamic. Of the few amps I've messed around with though the CA Tucana Lead is probably my favorite so far.

Even amps like the Dizzy V4 will clean up pretty well even with the gain set @ 8.00 but it will eventually come down to what you consider 'clean'. For me, it's a tone that 'sounds' clean but actually has some hair on it. Not edge-of-breakup though, that's a level of overdrive as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, the Conford amp is really good for this. With the new FW I have been building a patch with this amp model. Good crunch but roll the guitar down to 4-5 and it has a nice clean.
