Clean octave sound

I've been trying to emulate EBS octave pedal (I use with my bass mainly) which is very clean and non-synthy sounding and all I can get is OC-2-ish sounding one..... any luck out there with good octave sound?

Nope. A lot of us use an external octave pedal still.

I get clean low octaves with

PITCH - fixed harmony
or
PITCH - octave divide

Put the PITCH block between the amp and cab block and do what @yek said

I'll give a try again tonight as PITCH - octave divide didn't do it for me. My bass set up consists of preamp with no speakers so I thought by doing that I eliminated too many variables.

If you need a slightly dirtier low octave, use the RingMod block, set to Tracking.
