I would like to buy a new guitar or new pickups. Bu watching this video I can conclude that the pickup is the most important part of the guitar sound:
Therefor I would like to go on an pickup exploration. BUT I don't like all the variables on the pickup website. I don't know what amp they used, which mic configuration and it is impossible to compare to my existing guitar...
As a result I would like to find a website with CLEAN DI sounds of high-end guitars. I searched but can't seem to find any
1) Can anyone help me?
2) Would it be a good idea to tonematch pickups? What would be the limitations. I reckon you need to tonematch single coil vs single coil and humbucker vs humbucker.
