Clarification re: MIDI Clock - Axe USB or MIDI in passing Clock to Axe MIDI Thru Port

Will the Axe, receiving MIDI clock at either the MIDI in port, or the USB MIDI stream, pass MIDI clock to its MIDI thru port?

I found these posts, but no answer from an authoritative source:

Possibly disabled in 10.02:

Release note from 10.02, as referenced in above post (and of course authoritative in its source), is somewhat vague since the context is MFC and the ethernet port, and it doesn't explain the lag or reference a bug:

Removed pass-through of MIDI Clock messages as this causes excessive lag when using MFC-101 via the CAT-5 connection.

Earlier this year a post that it was only available when originating from MIDI in:

http://forum.fractalaudio.com/axe-fx-ii-discussion/63448-midi-clock-out-yes-no.html

So... if it's not available to external devices via SOURCE --> Axe USB --> Axe MIDI Thru, is it still available via SOURCE --> Axe MIDI In --> Axe MIDI Thru?

Or am I just SOL and need to setup a MIDI patchbay circa 1985'ish? :)

Anyway, before I start to tear into my rig routing, I'm looking for a definitive answer on the options I have, if any -- aside from making the Axe the last on my MIDI chain.
