CFG FX8 problems

I can only run effects through PRE settings I have CFG settings at 8/0 but have no sound with any of my effects but when I put to 6/2 I can hear 6 blocks but 7 and 8 are dead.

Can anyone help me ?

This unit is not so user friendly to an old school guy like me lol
