Can't use my Axe as soundcard ... help

Hi I currently have some issues regarding using my Axe as a soundcard.
Let me explain what it is:
Well whener I try using my Axe via USB as my main sound device in Windows 8/64bit I can't play any sound (from the PC) through it without horrible cracking. When I play guitar it sound find, but when I play something to the Axe back it crackles. So I am not able to do a real Tone Match or reamp anything.
The USB driver seems to be working fine since I can use Axe Edit without any problems. I runthe latest Firmware version latest driver and everything. I also set 48 kHz in Windows as sample rate.

I had this problem, drove me mad, it turned out to be a dodgy USB cable, try a different one if you can.

Check the buffers on the driver in the systray. Make sure its set to 1024 or at least 512.
