Can't Get Momentary Control Switch Button To Work

Some help would be greatly appreciated:

I'm using Per Preset layouts and within that want to assign control switch 1 to one of the buttons on my FC6 as a momentary switch

However when I do this in Axe-Edit I can only get the button to engage control switch 1 as a latching switch. There is nothing assigned to the hold parameters of the switch

I can get it working with the EZ page in FC Controllers but that affects every preset - I'm trying to assign controls switches to the FC6 as and when I choose from preset to preset

Undoubtedly something basic I'm doing wrong, but any help appreciated
 
Is it on switch 3? That switch has a hold function behind the scenes if Master Layout "Switch Combo" is enabled.

If it's on a different switch or you have that disabled, upload your preset and your "System + Global Blocks + FC" and I can take a look. You can send it just to me if you don't want to post it.
 
It's on switch 5 - I spotted the note about the hidden hold function on switch 3 in the manual

Thank you that's brilliant - I'll do so when I get home tonight
