Can't get a good amp/cab sound out of my AX8...

When I first got the AX8 I thought it was kind of dark sounding. A lot of the factory cabs are dark for my tastes. Swapping to something else helped. If you're looking at Vox tones, you may want to look at the Division 13 cab...it's something around 100 in the cab listing. Most of the stock Vox cabs are pretty dark to my ears.
 
I've been with my aX8 for a couple of months. I have not used it yet in my live concerts because I'm still looking for those sounds I want. I can say that at the beginning I did not really like the sounds. But after watching many tutorial videos and picking up some very good third-party presets and going over some things. I'm getting closer to what I'm looking for. But you have to take many hours and patience to dominate the beast
