cannot download any presets as SFX

No matter what..They save as the icon that would be an install application and the title is AXE EDIT SETUP..I'm downloading to a FOLDER on a different drive. But the option of a file type SFX is just not available.
Needless to say I can't install any of it
 
THIS is what I see in the folder but I cannot open them..they turn into AXE EDIT INSTALLATION applications

Have you tried importing any of the presets into Axe Edit, either by using 'Import Preset' or dragging and dropping into an empty preset grid? The icon is the typical one used for installation applications but the file type still shows SYX.
 
On the top left, select the import function and then you can click the tone you downloaded, and that should load up the preset just fine. I noticed someone also said you can drag and drop - works well for me.
