Can you fit 4 Mission pedals on a Temple Duo 17?

Yes, yes you can! With some work and outside the box thinking.

You'll notice in the top view pic that there are no visible cables connected for the middle two pedals.

Here's a close-up of the secret to making it happen. I removed the pedal jack from the side of the chassis and attached it to the board itself. I need some larger washers but this works for now:

I decided to try and replace one or two Mission pedals with Fractal EV-2s.

I got one EV-2 and reworked my expression pedal board.

I also got tired of fighting with the space for the cable and took matters into my own hands. For the 2 middle pedals I relocated the jack to the front of the pedals.

I've noticed lots of folks using Mission pedals. How do they compare to the EV1/2 for use? Is it just a size and fit thing for the boards?

I have 2 (on the left) that are spring loaded. I'm not aware of any other expression pedal with that option. I use them for Wah and Whammy with auto engage.

The Mission pedals are basically a Crybaby chassis, so if you've used one you know the "feel".

For things where you want a more precise control, something like the EV-2 or EV-1 is a better choice as they have a bigger "sweep".

I chose the EV-2 in this case for size but I like the sweep so I'll probably get another one to replace the white Mission pedal on the board.
