Can you control a modifier from a different location in the fx chain

Is there any way to control a modifier by the audio signal from somewhere other than it's parent block.

I want to have an effect late in the chain that has a pitch follower on the mix controlled by the the raw, clean input signal, not the mangled signal at it's location, can anyone think of a good way to do that? The modifier window doesn't seem to support it but maybe there's some clever workaround?

I primarily want this for pitch shifting but it could also be useful for side-chaining an modifier on an effect to a signal into one of the other inputs, like vocals or a kickdrum.

The 'Pitch Follower' controller is fed from the input. The 'Pitch' block however, allows for selecting 'Global' or 'Local' pitch detection.

Hmm I thought the Pitch modifier takes it at the Input, not the block location?

What exactly are you doing? What controller/source?

Ok good news that the pitch follower is tracking off the input, thanks.

I am playing around with mixing sounds based on pitch.
