Can the AxeFx III Accept a Speaker-Level Output from an Amp?

No.

I recommend learning more about the various inputs and outputs of your equipment; just because something uses a 1/4” jack doesn’t mean it’s compatible at the signal level. Section 4 in the manual shows examples of various ways to use the modeler and you’ll see that none of them use the configuration you asked about. The voltage coming out of the amp’s speaker output is significantly higher than what a guitar puts out.

Hi, I use a suhr iso line out for this - handy little utility box that is great for wet dry too. Make sure your amp still sees a load though!
