Hello friends with the good ears,
I have a buddy who also has an axe fx and I just was over at his place talking irs and he told me he got an ir in his collection that he, probably by accident, renamed at a certain point in time and now he has no idea what it could be. So, we are interested in finding out, would any of you be so kind, give it a spin and make an assessment what speaker/from which collection it may be? I doubt this was from a cabpack, it was in his "free mixes" folder so I reckon it is a mix of different speakers. In case this ir indeed is from a commercial pack, hit me up, I'll delete it asap of course.
Thanks it advance!
chris

The way to do this would be to use a checksum calculating application. The SHA1 checksum for this file is: 82d9b9731cf658145120d4f2e3dbd4c2d63948cf. Find an app that can calculate SHA1 checksums, load all your IR's in there and find the one that matches this checksum.

Thank you!
Though, if I understand correctly, the prerequisit for this method to work would be, that the original named ir still exists right?
Only then we'd be able to compare I reckon.
Anyway, I'll keep you posted, thanks again for looking into it!
chris
