Can somebody who owns a JEM do me a favour please?
I'm going to modify my RG output jack, I hate the position it has and want to drill a new channel and install it just like the JEM . So I'm wondering if somebody could be so kind and tell me how far below the strap button the channel begins and the approximate angle it has.
I hope this make sense. I just want to be in the ballpark, I'm not trying to make a JEM copy or anything,
I just want to do it right from the beginning, I cannot for the life of me understand why the input / output jacks are mounted where they are on RG and telecaster for instance ..
It's like " oh guys now we have created an awesome guitar, how can we put the jack at the maximum inconvenient position ? The goal is to hurt the players thighs and brake as many cable as possible "
