Can I use a Stand-In Switch to go to the Master Layout?

Hey all,
I'm using an FC-12 with my Axe Fx and it's awesome. However, when I had an FM3 I really got used to having the three master switches available at any time. I've set up the Stand-In switches to mimic the three main buttons on the FM3 (Presets, Scenes, Effects), but I was wondering if it's possible to set up one single switch to get me to the Master Layout. I'm not a huge fan of the "rocker" motion to get back to the Master layout and would like just to hit one switch. Is this do-able?

Yep. There's a Master Layout function under the Layout category for switches. Assign that to the tap or hold function of a switch in one of your FC12's layouts and then assign your stand in switch to that.

Here's a good and easy way to do this.

1. Open Axe-Edit and click FC Controllers.
2. Open Layout 9 and select the upper right switch, which is un-used.
3. For Tap, change CATEGORY to "LAYOUT" and and LAYOUT to "Layout 9" (MLM)
4. There is not yet a Stand-in Switch editor, so finish up on the hardware:

• Open Setup : FC Controllers and change to the Stand-In Switches page.
• Select your switch and set it to Layout 9, Switch 12.

Done! Now, your external switch fires the function that you assigned in steps 2 and 3.

TIP! After doing this, disable the MLM "Switch-Combo" and you'll possibly pick up a hidden benefit. Can you guess what it is?

I have no idea but I'm going to take a wild guess. Does it quickly scroll through the presets?
