Cabs in the Attic!!!!

Any good mix recipes folks would like to share on that pack? The only thing I find tough is to know where I am based on the letters vs. cap, cap-edge, cone, etc. Are the non-letter IRs supposed to be the "classic" positions for each mic?

I don't mix IRs a lot these days. I tend to stick to a single IR.

When I mix, I do it in Cab-Lab (to be released soon). Simple 50/50 mix.
I don't want to do it in the Cab block, because of the added CPU usage in stereo mode.

Anyone know why this cab pack doesn't have any mixes in it? I'm OK since I have Cab Lab and I can create my own, but I was hoping for some mixes to choose from across all of the different cabs. Seems like other cab packs which I have purchased before have had mixes included.

No mixes in the actual Cab Pack 6. In fact, Cab Pack 5 and Cab Pack 6 from Fractal do not have any mixes in the packs you buy through the store. However, there are mixes of select cabs from both of those packs that were created for the factory versions of those IRs. Unfortunately though, it's never been shared what those mixes were if you wanted to reproduce the recipe on on other cabs in this pack.

From this cab pack, I'm using the Vox 4141 (Beatle) Cab, the Marshall Pre-Rola, and the 3 Monkeys 4x12. I wanted to like the Wizard (called Sorcerer) and the Marshall 300W, but those just have a certain dark quality and tonal character that my ear doesn't dig so I stopped trying to make them work and moved on.
 
I've been getting stoked about getting this cab pack and was looking for more info on it because I've become OCD like a mug with this unit and I know I'm about to lose sleep for days in discovery mode. Then Yek, like always puts his 2,000,000 cents down to help make things a little easier for a start. Gonna pull the trigger today on 6 and I'm gonna grab 7 as well. Thx for the info dudes. Coffee anyone? Cheerz!
