Bypass the noise gate in two different ways [SOLVED]

Hi there,

I have one question: I have a preset where my expression pedal controls various parameters (amp gain, drive level, etc.) to blend between heavy distortion and crunch. I also control the bypass of my noise gate with the pedal, so that the noise gate is automacially bypassed when I have less distortion. Now I would like to assign a switch on the MFC-101 ALSO to the gate bypass so that I can bypass the gate while playing with heavy distortion. Is this somehow possible without losing the automatic behaviour that's "connected" to the distortion?
(I hope I explained it so you can understand what I mean)

Cheers
Michael

No, if you assign a the bypass control of a block to an external controller, there are no other ways to (un)bypass it.

There are various ways to do this, like parallel Gate/Exp and shunt to a mixer block, switch set up as an Ext Ctrl assigned to mixer levels.
