Bypass fail

Hi guys.
I was about to try the tone match, and realized I cant bypass certain effects.
I can only bypass "everything". I can select something in layout mode but I cant bypass it, when i have the cursor over and press bypass nothing happens.
When in recall mode, I bypass everything so I get a clean sound what is this?

Also FX Edit doesnt work despite having drivers, connected correctly to USB etc

Is this through axe edit? Does everything work via the front panel?

there is 2 bypass buttons. one say bypass (that is for everything) the other is FX BYP , that one will bypass the effects. It will not work if you have autoengage set on the effect.

We would need more info on your axe-edit issues. OS, step you took to install drivers, any error messages, is the axefx II showing up as an option in the midi in/out settings?

Ah thanks javajunkie, I pressed the "Bypass" button and not FX Byp.

Actually that is the second time in 24 hours I answered that so not uncommon.

Yeah, it took me a little bit to configure my brain to think FX meant block. Mostly I use Axe-Edit, though, and double click.
