Wish Bypass / Engage multiple blocks at once

The Quad Cortex (1.4.0) now provides "Stomp Box Bypass".

"You can now assign the bypass status of multiple devices to one footswitch in Stomp Mode. There is no limit to the number of devices’ bypass status that can be assigned to a single footswitch."

Implementing something similar on the FCs, FM3 and FM9, as a per-preset function, would be nice.

Yes, but that requires the player to assign a CS to each block that should be included.

The proposed functionality is much more simple: configure a single switch and specify which effects should be included.

This would require additional parameters in the Effect Bypass function to designate FX2, FX3, FX4.
Do they allow you to invert the state of any blocks in the group or is it strictly ALL ON, ALL OFF?
A single LED ring wouldn't work in the usual way here, but that might be acceptable (Dim = At least one effect present, Off = None present)

Don’t know the specifics and I don’t own a QC. I only saw the release notes yesterday.

The 1.4 video shows you how to do it. You go into the block then click on assign footswitch. You can add the same foot switches to multiple blocks.

A logical and easy to use approach would be to allow you to assign more than one effect in the FC edit menu. 2 would be fine, 3 max. Any more than that and use a scene.

My Cortex upgraded to 1.40 tells a 'ALL ON, ALL OFF'.
