Buttons readable without additional light source?

Hello everyone,

I’m setting together the new rack case of my Axe III which I’ll hopefully get in September. I want to keep the rack light weight and simple. So I have a question to all Axe III owners (still jealous )

I built a LED light into the rack case of my Axe II because in some situations with low light I couldn't see the buttons right.

Now as the Axe III has a larger display and a glowing logo, I wonder if the lettering of the buttons is readable even when the Axe is the only light source in the room. More precisely: Do these two light sources spread out wide enough to reach all buttons (even those in the middle part of the unit)?

Thanks for your answers

I had this exact problem yesterday, dark stage trying to store a quick modification I made to the preset. IMO, no, the lettering was not legible. I tried cupping my hand to reflect the screen or logo’s light into the buttons and did not have any luck.

...hmm. Okay! Remembers me to what I expierienced with the Axe II before I added the LED-Strip.
Thanks for sharing this.
