Buttons from Ali Express

I ordered some off Amazon that look to be the same ones. And the same thing screws are long so I ground them shorter. Also the fit is little lose from side to side so I put a layer of tape around the FC6 switched. All in all for 2 bucks a pop you get what you pay for. If I had money to burn Barefoot Buttons look like they kick ass, much better machining, screws that don't stick out and that rounded top. But on a budget $12 vrs $60 is a no brainer.

I ordered a set of the plastic ones they came out with a couple years ago. It took a few weeks to get in but they work just fine. I didn't really end up using them but they're neat anyway.

Years ago, when I was just a young lad back in 1979, I wanted to buy an MXR Distortion pedal, but new they were $120 or so. I ended up buying a DOD knockoff pedal for $50, and was very unhappy with it for a long time (this was before the age of free returns) After that, the "no brainer" for me was to save up my money and buy what I believed to be the better quality item that I really wanted, and haven't been disappointed ever since. Same with Fractal gear - never owned the other stuff.

Barefoot buttons all the way! ;)

I ordered a set of these from Ali Express a few months back - they never turned up even after many emails assuring me they would be sent so beware! - won't deal with Ali Express again - ordered plastic ones from Bangood which arrived quickly and work perfectly.
