BJ Devices

Hi everyone,

Thought i'd share this with the community. Several years ago, two guys from Russia made a company and started making various midi devices, effect loopers, amp switchers, power sources for pedals, etc. Without much exaggeration, they're like Russian Voodoo Labs or RJM ;)

Here's a link to their site - BJ Devices - midi controlles and digital switching systems

Am I affiliated with them in any way? Bought a contoller from them a earlier this year and has been gigging with it for a number of months already. To me, it is a perfect addition to my AFX Std and, i presume, a good variant for those on a budget. Might be a very serious competitor to Behringer FCB1010 and other controllers in this price range, taking into account that both of the current models have:
- customizable footswitch functions (you can define any of them as PC, CC of bank change fsw)
- support for phantom power over midi
- jacks for 2 expression pedals
- AFX tuner, tap tempo and preset name support

Feel free to check out their site (English version is still being updated) and ask questions! ;)

user manual in English in the works? looks very interesting. like the features and connectivity & good price. Unique feature of the FCB1010 is MIDI note trigger. Possible to add this feature?

I thought the title meant Cliff was now modeling different porn stars mouths. (BJ's) like Christy Canyon, or Jenna Jameson?

The company name definitely draws atention :)

The thing is - the guys know their business and their customer service is indeed top notch.

Bought it directly from the manufacturer. The price was, as i recall, around 250$
Oh yeah, and scenes are now supported as well ;)

That's pretty good. I just traded someone for an Axe Ultra (the Axe II just isn't in the budget yet) and this seems like it would be a bit nicer than a Ground Control Pro. I like that it will display the patch names and tuner from the Axe.
I take it that it's built pretty well since you said you've been gigging with it.

Are any of you buyers in the U.S.? What were the shipping fees? Do their preferred forms of payment provide any protection for the buyer?
