Best way to create a solo boost... go!

The disadvantages would be in a kitchen-sink preset where each scene has to be able to be boosted at any time, but I don’t use presets like that. Also, when changing scene order or adding/removing scenes the sliders need to be adjusted.
Also:
echo/reverb tails will be affected, resulting in what (to me, at least) sounds like an audio glitch.

I like to use a CS that turns on a phaser (nothing too crazy) in front of amp with slight volume boost and a PEQ after the cab (eq’d to help cut through the mix) with a 1-2 db boost. Helps my tone pop through without mushing out the amp too much. It’s like a “more” switch with some extra sauce from the phaser.

I used to boost the amp in the amp block - I found myself struggling to stick out of the mix. It would oversaturate the amp and I found myself fighting my tone more.

Not perfect for all my tweaked presets but I default to the amp block and set Control Switch 1 to turn on the Input Boost and Fat buttons simultaneously. Works most of the time for me.
