Best way to connect Axe Fx to Eleven Rack

Guys,
I am going over to a very opinionated friend's house this week to have a shootout between the Axe and his Kemper. He has the ElevenR rack as his audio interface and runs his Kemper through the loop to monitor. I should be able to just plug into the line input jacks L/R and we should be able to hear both units at once correct?

Any thoughts or suggestions? I want to set up as close to an equal monitoring situation as possible.

Correct. Plug into L/R inputs on rear of unit and then to hear the Axe, change the input via the front panel knob from "Guitar in" to "L/R in". You will need to bypass everything in the signal chain in the 11R.

So the knob will essentially be our A/B switch? Can both signals be heard at once and I just use an A/B switch BEFORE the Axe and Kemper so that we can switch back and forth on the fly? I can probably figure this out on the spot but the more informed I am going in the more time I have to prove to him the merits of the axe over the other unit.
