Best sounding Vocal microphone?

Sennheiser e945 for live Rock Vocals, AKG C535 for jazz and classic ( funny, that i used the C535 also for Rock Music live before the e945...)

For vocals, beta 87a takes the cake: virtually indestructible, perfect upper-mids, cheap, I could go on.

My favorite wired vocal mic is a Shure Unisphere 565SD - (the predecessor to the SM58) it has an on/off switch and it was Freddie Mercury's favorite live mic he used for singing while playing his piano.

A few years ago I bought a digital wireless Line6 XD-V75 which I now use for my vocals.
Line 6 V75 HHTX handheld wireless mic models:
1 Line 6 Custom
2 Shure SM58 - Dynamic cardioid (Unidirectional)
3 Shure Beta 58 - Dynamic supercardioid
4 Shure SM57 - Dynamic cardioid
5 Sennheiser e835 - Dynamic cardioid
6 Sennheiser e935 - Dynamic cardioid
7 Audio-Technica AE4100 - Dynamic cardiod
8 Electro-Voice N/D767a - Dynamic supercardioid
9 Audix OM5 - Dynamic hypercardioid (unsurpassed gain before feedback)
10 AKG D5 - Dynamic supercardioid
I like using either the Beta 58 or the OM5, I'm not a great singer so getting my mic loud through the speakers before feedback is important as is the tone.

I have/use a Heil PR-35. Killer mic. It is hotter and has a lot more mojo and clarity than typical live vocal mics I've used (SM58s, EV, Audio Technica, etc). A bit pricey, but was worth it to me.
