I want to program patch 10 bank 1 to be my tuner how would i do this? i have tried the toggle function tuner method but to no avail? Cheers

where it says 'you would delete the program change'.....how do you delete these?and if the program change is deleted, are you creating a new one when you go through the step being descibed?....i don't really understand what a program change is i guess

In order to use the FCB101's switch without sending a PC msg to the Axe FX II telling it to switch to that preset #, you have to disable the FCB's preset from sending a PC msg.
So, You don't delete the Program Change, you turn it off within the preset. This is done by holding down the switch for about 1.5 seconds until it no longer lights when in select config mode.

Note : I don't use Direct Select mode, as I'm not sure how this would work in that mode.
Note : I use stock factory PROM, not the UNO chip.

Basically you need to send the proper value to turn it on/off along with the CNT #.
For reference, 0-63 = off, 64-127 = on, I prefer to use 0 and 127 as it's easier to recognize when viewing configurations.
So in a nutshell, you are telling the tuner (CC15) to turn on (127) or off (0).

To Program using the FCB1010, with the preset you want to use selected;
press and hold "down" for 2.5 sec to enter config mode,
press "up" once to advance past switches configuration, the "Select" LED lights up
turn off any Program Changes by pressing and holding them for about 1.5 seconds until the no longer lit. (switch 1 - 5)
Press and hold switch "6" for about 1.5 seconds to turn on CNT1
press switch "6" once, it will begin blinking, then press "up" to enter it's configuration
set the value to 15 (default tuner CC for the Axe FX II) using expression pedal A and then press "up" to accept
set a value of 127 with expression A (turns it on), then press "up" to finish changes
press and hold "7" to turn on CNT2, repeat the same steps except use a value of 0 instead of 127 (turns the tuner off with a 2nd press of the same switch)
Press and hold "down" to save and exit configuration

How do you program 8 individual scenes on a stock FCB1010?

Are any of you using this Mac editor for the FCB1010 with any success? I have not tried it.

I'm programming the FCB manually, doing the riverdance. Kruegmeister has described the general process pretty accurately at the beginning of this thread. There are some other forum threads that describe this also. I'll try to dig up a link for you. I believe I created a lengthy post that describes how you can have a top row of presets (switches 6-9), with a bottom row of scene Changes (scenes 2-6) on switches 1 thru 5 on a STOCK FCB1010.

http://forum.fractalaudio.com/other-midi-controllers/61417-fcb1010-help-no-mod-no-chip.html

you should be able to use this as a guide to set up your FCB switches to do whatever you'd like them to do.

Hi Kruegmeister,

I just purchased an FCB1010 and am hoping to use your directions to get it set up exactly to do what you have done. Just Preset changing 1-10 per bank. The only thing I want to do other than this is to have a preset or 2 that would allow me to use the looper. Could I do this ? For example, I follow your directions to lets say, have presets 1,2,3 to be Clean, Dist, Lead but have a certain preset (4 for example) have a looper on that particular Axe patch, and I then use buttons 5,6,7,8 to control the looper. Is this possible?

Thanks Kruegmeister! You put up a lot of work on this post years ago... Just a nod to let you know that it is still helpful!!
