Basic wireless question

I've read that sometimes standing too close to a wireless receiver can cause drop outs. Anyone experience this? Never had a wireless but am, getting sick of stepping on my cable while changing patches on the MFC. FWIW I'm considering one of the Line 6 units.

I have a Line 6 G90. Never experienced a dropout and I stand directly in front of mine. The unit is pricey, but excellent. I can't tell tbe difference between wireless and wired.

I've been too close to another guy on stage that had a wireless and would interfere with ear wireless... we changed the cannel on his vocal mic and it cleared up. Just need to make sure all your wireless stuff is on different enough channels.
