Banshee Talkbox

I have a Banshee Talkbox in the FXL block and it works great. Trouble is, the siganl is output through the talkbox on all presets. I am only using the FXL block on one or two presets... so how does a signal pass to the talkbox without a FXL block present?

Do you have copy output 1 to 2 turned on?

How do you like the Banshee? It's always been one of those pedals I think about but never seem to pull the trigger. It looks like fun, though.
