Bank changes over Midi not working (program changes)

Resurecting this thread. I am also trying to get Stage Traxx 3 to send patch changes to my FM9. I initially had success changing presets within the 1st bank, but wasn't able to call presets from anything but the 1st bank.

While composing this message & digging through info from various sources, I finally discovered a method that works but it's different than that posted above which I could not get to work for anything outside of bank 1.

I had to include values for both the MSB and the LSB even though the LSB value doesn't change. It would not work for me sending from Stage Traxx to the FM9 with only the "CC0" value.


[midi@00:05.00: CC0.0@1,CC32.0@1,PC000@1] <--- Calls 1st preset in bank 1 (000)
[midi@00:10.00: CC0.1@1,CC32.0@1,PC000@1] <--- Calls 1st preset in bank 2 (128)
