I would suggest you to do a clean install of Windows and then install the drivers from your motherboard’s, GPU’s manufacturer website.

Newer Windows builds do download the “latest” driver from Windows Update, but quite often, these drivers are outdated.

I'm on a Mac. The OP for this thread is a PC user, but I'm having a similar situation with my system as well. There is an AxeFX USB FW update, which I have installed on the AxeFX itself, but that did not resolve the issue.

In my case, the unit was replaced.
