Bug? AxeEdit interferes with recall display on axefx [NOT A BUG]

When I select a preset on the axefx via PC using my foot controller, it selects the preset. However, if I have AxeEdit (3.0.8, FW 14.00, OSX 10.6.8 ) running when I do that, the axefx switches from recall mode to edit mode. I want the axefx to remain in recall mode. Otherwise it's hard to glance at the axefx to see what preset I have selected. If I don't have axedit running when I select the preset, it works fine and the axefx remains in recall mode.

I don't understand how this wouldn't be considered a bug, but feel free to consider this a wish: I wish it didn't do that.

It's not a bug by definition because it's noted in the guide that this is "normal".

Q: I have problems when I try to edit my Axe-Fx front panel while Axe-Edit is running. The screen keeps changing!
A: Axe-Edit can cause the screen of the Axe-Fx to change menus or pages. This is normal. We recommend that you avoid using the Axe-Fx front panel for editing while Axe-Edit is running.

The above applies to using the foot controller too.

This is why the Pause feature has been added to AE.
