Axe standard set up

I want to set up my axe standard with my main outs to my studio monitors, but also be able to hear music from my laptop for rehearsing. Is there a way to have the music go through my axe on a different input so I hear my guitar and the track?

Use a mixer between the Axe-Fx and your studio monitors.

I use a Behringer 1202fx mixer. $110 for 8 channels (12 inputs). I have Axe Fx, Vocal mic, ipod, desktop, keyboards, drum machine all going. Works well and takes up little space. Mixer has Outputs for Mains, monitors and headphone.

Definitely use a mixer. You might want to hear any other source to play with sooner or later so some extra ins solve the problem. Plus you can give them the right eq-setting if sound is not satifying from the start.
