I've had the axe 2 for @ 2 months with no problems at all. I was controlling it with a berringer FCM model and that was working. I just got a new mfc 101 mark II. After hooking it up via ethernet cable I was getting NAME timeout. I bought new ethernet cables and got the same thing. I've tried 3. All were CAT5....no crossover.I made sure it was in expansion port, midi channel 1, axe fx total synk ON. and of course the the axe midi channel is set to 1.
When I turn the axe on I can change presets a few times and then it FREEZES
It does the same thing with a midi cable and switched to midi port
Any suggestions? I've been reading old threads
I'm not sure if this would be a "bug" with the firmware beta 9 or something else. Computer noob here
