axe fx ultra physical spdif problem?

Hi guys!

Until recently i have been tracking using audio but i would like to connect via digital to see if bypassing my interface's converters will be an improvement. So i went and bought an spdif cable but i cant hook it up!

The cable can easily be inserted in my interface spdif section as well as the digital in on the axe but the cable wont go through (doesnt seem to fit in) the digital out on the axe which i need. Im kinda scared to force it in because i shouldn't have to.. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

Also i noticed that the in on the axe is pretty tight but the out can slightly (and i mean slightly) move if you gently rock it sideways and i dono if thats normal.

My unit was bought new and doesnt have a scratch yet im wondering is something wrong with it?

Any advice what to do?

Get a different cable. I never had this problem.

Well i was hoping no one would ask me that hahahaha

Its just that the digital ins and outs on my interface as well as the in on the axe fx are much easier to insert the cable, while the out on the axe i just had to force it a bit

Mine was a very tight fit also, so it must be common with that connector.
