Axe-Fx III with E-bow

I've been using an e-bow for a very long time now. Does anyone have a suggestion how to use EQ on the Axe in order to not have to use the tone knob on the guitar? I hope I'm making myself clear here - for a not too harsh sound I always turn the tone knob fully down - I'd like to be able to not have to do that... Thanks!

Use a Filter Block with a Lowpass Filter after the input! Frequency to taste (start with about 2 KHz)

Maybe a case for multi-band compression as well?
