If it were only those blocks, yes, you're right. Everyone else is right. My intent wasn't to say that those were the only things in the preset. If we take the preset that I provided as an example, and tried to add another amp and cab, the result would be a no go... I get what you're saying, and my communication didn't fully explain all of the permutations for getting to max CPU. Sorry.

don - at this point i would suggest we close this thread - it has gone far off the rails with no one to blame.

ok. i’m only closing it because the answer has been demonstrated, and i want to avoid people commenting on the same thing over and over. the misunderstanding - or the appearance of one - has been cleared up.
