Axe-Fx III and deconstructing / parsing a .syx / sysex preset file

Thanks @Don Watters and @AlGrenadine! @AlGrenadine I keep reading through the wiki and I guess I just don't quite grasp it all yet. It's a bit confusing sifting through the wiki as it seems most of the information is only good through the AxeFx II. I'm guessing the answer is staring me right in the face under either the IR data chunk encoding scheme or one of the other examples. There is a bold heading "MIDI Sysex: Importing/exporting presets" but it doesn't have any detail but maybe the encoding is the same as what is done in an IR? I'm sure it will all click eventually.

Anyone here can be able in an .syx AXE FX III preset file to swap PITCH1 and PITCH2 ?
I mean just changing their numbers,
PITCH1 ==> PITCH2
PITCH2 ==> PITCH1
where they are and leaving everything else untouched.

"are you editing you tones on the machine?"
"no"
"oh...so you build your tones with the editor, isn't it?"
"no"
"but...how do you..."

both, and among super cool and powerful features, I want to win some obstacle course in doing basic things too
