Axe FX II not working with MAC OS LION USB problem

Hi,

Installed LION a couple of days ago on my iMac. I have worked with the Axe FX II on Snow Leopard before that and everything worked fine, now the Mac does not recognize the Axe FX II anymore.
Installed the Axe FX II USB driver a couple of times, checked the 'settings' under 'sounds', but the USB driver does not pop up. It used to do before.

Any known issues with USB and Axe Fx II on Lion?

I am using Lion on a mid 2009 MacBook Pro without any issues like this.

I did have some issues with recording and monitoring at the same time, but I think that was an aftermarket hard drive issue.TBH.

Lots of problems here with Lion. Got Logic Pro to work, but all midi keyboards and midi boxes are not recognized anymore.
I have looked for drivers, but I have this very old PC-300 midi keyboard. There is no Lion update for that. Also not for a Midi Man (Now M audio) midi box 4 in 4 out. Last firmware update was from 2007.
The lights are 'on' on the keyboard and the midi box, but no program recognizes the keyboard or the midi box.
Mac is great, but never had any issues on a pc with Cubase that I worked on for 15 years.
