Axe-FX II "Firmware Update Unknown" HELP

I'm running my Axe-FX II direct into iMac via USB.

Shipped with 5.06 and I'm trying to upgrade to 5.07. I get "Firmware Update Unknown" error every time.
I've read quite bit on solutions for the Ultra, but none of them seem to solve the problem for me.

Anyone having this issue with their Axe-FX II??
 
Joe,

Per the release notes, at the end of the update sequence you need to power off and power on the AxeFx II.

(Not in the release notes: )You can get an AxeEdit error at this step but it is innocuous.

Check your firmware version on the AxeFx II itself. You might be okay.

If the above doesn't work....try increasing the buffer size in Axe Edit.
I've had to do that in the past....
 
Thanks first suggestion is where I've been stuck for a while. I power the Axe on and off and still on 5.06.
I'll try increasing the buffer and get back. Thanks.
 
I just got this because I didn't first go to the Firmware tab in the Utility menu on the Axe front panel and then press the Enter button before starting the firware update from Axe-Edit.

I thought I could do this by memory. :)
