Axe-Edit flashes/blinks in and out in tuner mode

I've been meaning to post about this for a month or so now. A couple versions ago, Axe-Edit started displaying this odd behavior of randomly flashing/blinking in and out while in tuner mode.

I'm currently running Axe-Edit 3.1.9 on Mac OS X 10.10.2.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
