Axe edit block question about resetting

how the heck do I reset a block to what i have it saved as If I want to re attempt a tweak without resetting other newly tweaked blocks by switching presets then back again? I've tried double clicking on a parameter and the reset block/effect type option BUT all that does is reset it to default values not to what I had it saved to when I load the preset!!

There's no Undo option, and edits aren't saved per block. If you need a previous version, you need to recall a previously saved preset.
Ot use Snapshots in Axe-Edit.

Undo has been requested ad infinitum. For now I used XY states to compare tweaks, or two presets.

i only adjust one block or parameter at a time. if i don't like it, i use Revert Preset in Edit to go back to my starting point. Snapshots work as well.
