Makes sense from a marketing standpoint that the AX8 is the new product that ushers the new firmware 'Quantum' now that it's officially been released. I bet we get some news soon, just a hunch

We know they've been working on the hardware. Now they have a marketable firmware to accompany it. This kind of stuff sells to the masses.
