AX8 to FM9

There must be a bunch of us who have been stuck in the AX8 world when it was discontinued and did not move into the the updated firmware of the FM3 or the AXIII. So, those who have been fortunate enough to get early on the waitlist and now enjoying the FM9, I would love to hear your thoughts on the improvement of your tones in the firmware in the FM9 contrasted or compared to the AX8. I was playing my AX8 yesterday and really enjoying my clean tones, but not as happy with my breakup tones. Looking forward to my waitlist call, but in the mean time would love to hear what others who have made the transition think - not so much functionality as tone comparisons.

The "perfect tone" is easier and faster to dial up in the FM9 vs AX8. Basic tweak, if anything , and you're there. Higher resolution sounding because it is. Too many things to name really. ZERO DOWNSIDE

There’s an endless selection of cabs and the pitchblock + virtual capo are damn good.

Just the new generation foot switching layout option is worth the change alone. For me, the difference in amp modeling was like going from an Ultra to the Axe-III.

It's a "no-brainer"!
