Any word on when the Ax8 will be in stock again?

They are usually not out of stock for more than a week at a time.

Is it possible to find out when stock might be available at a particular distributor? I'm in Australia and the distributor can't say when the AX8 I paid for will arrive. The Fractal store shows "STATUS:In stock".

If the Aussie distributor cannot/will not tell you, I do not think anybody can. The European distributor, G66, is very open about these things. They usually have a disclaimer that says that they are not 100% certain, but they expect you to get your unit at this and this date.
