I am using AX8 edlt on my Macbook.
Last month I updated to the latest OS14 Sonoma and now AX8 edlt won't boot. Is it possible to use edlt on mac from now on?

just installed for the first time and it opens, though i don't have the gear and didn't try to connect.

i did have to go through the Security thing, where it says unknown developer and open System Settings > Security and manually tell it to open. Screenshot 2023-11-29 at 10.15.21 AM.png

That is not the normal message that appears when Mac OS is checking for malicious software. Really not sure what is causing that error message.

Does the AX8 have the latest firmware 10.01? https://www.fractalaudio.com/ax8-downloads/

Current AX8 Editor? https://www.fractalaudio.com/ax8-edit/

Are you able to connect to Fractal-Bot? https://www.fractalaudio.com/fractal-bot/
Fractal-Bot works, correcty, FXII-Edit works correctly. AX8-Edit (Doesn't work....) and yes, i've got latest firmware in all systems..

Still getting the same message that you posted above?

You are positive that the MAC security section is not the issue?

My MAC is a M1 2020 and running AX8 Edit without any problems.

Also did it... and nothing...
OK. Just to retest my MAC/OS I deleted AX8 Edit and reinstalled. Below screenshots order are what I needed to go through so that AX8 would open. AX8 Edit is working fine.

Please verify that this is what you see when doing the same.

yes i did it, but the problem is another one...
Must be a hardware issue with the MAC.

Have you tried to rollback the O/S to previous version and see if ok? Then update o/s again?

Since all my recommendations have not helped and you have tried many solutions not sure what else to do.

Hope to you get it figured out.
