AX3-FM3 sounds different?

I've transferred some of my presets to my new FM3 and recognized a huge difference in sound. I've also created a simple new preset with just an Amp and Cab block and have set my input settings both to 0 dB - with the same result. All output EQs are flat.
Right now I'm using FW 14.01 (because of recordings) and 3.01. Am I missing something?
 
Because 3.0 is equal to roughly Axe Fx III FW 15.01 where the power amp modelling was changed

Should work yeah. Unless I am wrong, which could be.

Amp modeling updated to match Axe-Fx III firmware 15.01.

Improved Power Amp Modeling. The new algorithm yields accurate dynamic frequency response which results in clearer bass and extended highs. More “chug”, “thump” and “chime”. NOTE: Existing presets should be auditioned. While the overall tone isn’t significantly changed, the transient frequency response is enhanced which may alter the tonal perception.

Also be aware that there are differences even then. The Cab block on the FM3 truncates UltraRes IRs and the Drive had a major overhaul on the Axe Fx III.

I'm sure there's other stuff...
